I often get asked... what is hard money? Is it the same as private lending? how does hard money work?
Well, I put some information out here for you in case you are considering it to become an investor who flips.
IS HARD MONEY SAFE?
Hard money is safe because it is secured by tangible assets of the property at hand. Just make sure everything is clear in a legal contract.
HOW MUCH DOES A HARD MONEY LOAN COVER?
Base loans can cover up to 85% - 90% of purchase + 100% of rehab but this will be according to your experience. A tip can be to partner with someone with more experience.
DO I NEED THE HARD MONEY LOAN BEFORE GETTING A CONTRACTOR?
Yes. Once we figure out where the money is coming from we can start looking for a Contractor.
